Hosted by the University of Georgia, the purpose of this workshop is to provide beginner through advanced content on the fields of conservation medicine and One Health to a variety of students.
Course materials cover basic avian anatomy and physiology and provide you with current best practices for the first phase of raptor rehabilitation—patient stabilization. You will also receive instruction on safe handling methods, how to conduct a physical exam, the art of triage, and basic emergency care.
