Course materials cover basic avian anatomy and physiology and provide you with current best practices for the first phase of raptor rehabilitation—patient stabilization. You will also receive instruction on safe handling methods, how to conduct a physical exam, the art of triage, and basic emergency care.
This webinar provides an overview of animal ethics and welfare and using ethical frameworks and welfare assessments to help guide decision making. There will also be an opportunity to discuss current conundrums involving raptor and wildlife rehabilitation.
